What Customers Are Saying About Journey to the Goddess Realm

I love the fresh images of this deck and they “feel” good to me. This deck will appeal to anyone wishing to increase intuition and to get in touch with goddess energies. I love it! It’s bright, cheerful and has a happy feeling when I hold it. The deck goes beyond a simple oracle deck and can be a great tool for your spiritual journey.

The Journey to the Goddess Realm Oracle Deck by Lisa Porte offers the seeker a way to reconnect with the archetypes of feminine wisdom. The cards are an invitation to develop intuition, to re-member the body as a sacred temple, and to create balance between using our minds as a sacred tool for liberation and to heed our soul's calling to create peace, empathy and understanding with all of humankind.

With its skillful blend of whimsy, substance, and charm, the Goddess Realm Oracle Deck is a feast for the eyes and the spirit. I found myself being drawn into individual images, feeling a connection with many of the goddesses, and thoroughly enjoying my interaction with them.  Lisa Porter has brought us high-powered feminine energy from pantheons in all parts of the globe  I think this could be a great deck to use in conjunction with The Goddess Tarot by Kris Waldherr (U.S. Games Systems, Inc.) and I intend to give that a try. Images are alive with vibrant color and symbolic details, many of which are explained in the guidebook. Many of the goddesses are depicted as tall and slim, with long, slender legs. Exceptions include my personal favorite, the Slavic grandmother Baba Yaga, who is drawn as a generously proportioned older woman flying through the air in a cauldron while smoking a pipe, and the bawdy Greek goddess Baubo, who raises her dress to reveal plump legs clad in striped stockings. All of these ladies have plenty of personality, poise, and power – just what we expect from goddesses.

Beautiful deck. I'm very pleased with it. The guidebook is slim but nice, a page a card with a little info about the Goddess, some keywords and divinatory meaning. The card stock is adequate, more matte than glossy. I'm glad I purchased.

This Journey to the Goddess Realm 39-card deck includes 36 Goddess cards, three Confirmation cards, and a 48-page booklet. It includes a lot of well-known and obscure goddesses. The artwork that depicts them is congenial, light, and also rife with symbolism tied to each Goddesses' story. This pantheon of Goddesses depicted with vibrant artwork includes: Lilith, Spider Woman, Ishtar, Isis, Kali, Quan Yin, Rhiannon, Aphrodite, and others. Lisa Porter has brought us high-powered feminine energy from pantheons in all parts of the globe, including Japan, Wales, Crete, Russia, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Egypt, India, Africa, Scotland, the Arctic, North America, Italy, and Australia. In my book, that gives her bonus points for being inclusive of many cultures. Also, I really like the snapshot Lisa gives us of the history and cultural background of each goddess and her comments on the symbolic details she has included in the images. And speaking of images, the art is wonderfully alive with vibrant color and symbolic details, many of which are explained in the guidebook.

I love the fresh images of this deck and personally, they all felt good to me. Nothing super off-putting in the images. This deck will appeal to anyone wishing to increase intuition and to get in touch with goddess energies. It’s bright, cheerful. The deck goes beyond a simple oracle deck and can be a great tool for your spiritual journey, especially when trying to connect to feminine energies. The card stock is not super thick, slight matte, and allows you get a nice bend without cracking the card stock. They don't bend too much, or hold the bend. There are no images in the booklet, but there’s a lot of great information here. Overall, I found this to be an exceptionally fun and different Goddess deck. It has a lot of helpful information and also provides interesting and insightful readings for those trying to learn to connect with Goddess energy. I enjoyed learning about the various Goddess' backgrounds.

Journey to the Goddess Realm is a gorgeous deck filled with goddess energy from all over the world. This is my absolute favorite goddess deck. I love the artwork, diversity and empowering female energy. I love the diversity in this deck. There are goddesses from all over the world. I believe it's the most diverse goddess deck I have seen. There is some nudity throughout. I think there are six cards which show breasts. There are many goddesses in this deck I had never heard of. I really enjoy being introduced to new representations of the divine feminine. I have had a few goddess decks that I have let come and go. This one has been my favorite by far, and will not be going anywhere! I absolutely adore picking a card and absorbing the energy of the goddess that came up for me. If you don't have this deck, you need it! It is gorgeous, diverse and packed with strong, fierce and feminine goddess energy!
