The artwork was painted free hand with ink, watercolor and gouache with light digital enhancements and added textures. Includes 78 cards and 68-page booklet, packaged in a premium tuck box.

About Patrick Valenza

Patrick Valenza is the creator of the Deviant Moon Tarot deck and the author of the Deviant Moon Tarot book (published by U.S. Games Systems) as well as numerous oracle and playing card decks. In 2015, he founded Deviant Moon Inc., aka Fenwood Asylum, as a place to showcase his various artistic endeavors and stories. He remains an active member of the tarot community, both online and with occasional personal appearances.

As a child, Patrick was fascinated by the haunting atmospheres of cemeteries and abandoned buildings, which profoundly influenced the development of his artistic vision. After discovering his first tarot deck at age nine, Patrick became a lifelong student of tarot and its history.

After teaching art for 30 years, Patrick is now retired and finally has time to dedicate all his focus and energy to his art. His creative work is a blend of various artistic techniques, incorporating elements of photography, digital manipulation, collage and traditional media.

He often works on several projects simultaneously and bounces from one to the next, wherever inspiration leads him. Future releases include several tarot and oracle decks, including a sister deck to the Deviant Moon Tarot as well as books, strange toys, and even a movie.
