What Customers Are Saying About Black Ritual Tarot
A very simple black and white Rider Waite Smith Clone Deck. If you are looking for a black and white deck to add to your Rider Waite Smith Collection, then look no further! The contrast between the black background and the white images adds a different look to the good ole traditional Rider Waite Smith that we are familiar with. The lines are clearly defined and somehow the images seem to pop out of the card, very easy on the eyes and the details are clearly seen with just the black and the white colors.

I’ve always been a fan of minimalist decks as well as black and white visuals and this deck delivers on both. Artist Adam Zonca takes the RWS deck and brings his own spin to it with a beautiful clarity to the cards that is great for both beginners and experienced readers. As a meditation, these cards also give insight into shadow work where we can lean into the stark contrasts getting intuitive initial reactions. Backs of cards are also of interest to me, and these cards don’t disappoint. Their ornate mandala-like art gives a nice balance to the main art gracing the cards’ fronts. And a final personal note: my favorite touch is the Magician’s Hat which reminds me very much of Jodorosky’s The Holy Mountain. Overall I highly recommend this deck for all levels since it is a nice counterpart to the RWS deck and gives tones of the BOTA and Hermetic decks. —B. Earl, Tarot teacher
