What Customers Are Saying About Introduction to Tarot Book
This book is the most comprehensive, user friendly book about the basics of Tarot that you will ever find. It's pages are beautifully illustrated and full of simple yet insightful explanation for each card in a Tarot deck while providing a clear understanding of how to readily apply the information when doing a reading. It is so thorough and accessible that I have not needed to consult any other Tarot book since picking this one up. And I have become a pretty good card reader myself thanks to the author's knowledgeable instruction. I highly recommend it.

I wanted to learn Tarot forever and didn't know where to start, but I found this book and wow! - I now know how to read tarot cards! The way the book is laid out makes it so easy for you to understand - how cups are about emotions, how swords are about thoughts - and then each description of the card really helps you to figure out what your reading means. I refer to the book over and over and over again. Great book - a *must* if you're doing Tarot.

One of the best beginner tarot books I have come across, and the only one I've found that discusses the meanings of both RWS and Thoth decks. Highly recommended to anyone interested in learning.

I learned to read Tarot cards with this book. Levitt explains step by step the meanings, symbolisms, and different spreads using the Rider-Waite and Crowley decks. I bought the kit, which has the book and these two Tarot card decks, and a workbook. After many years, I keep it close to my heart and use it as reference every now and then.

I'm a newbie to tarot. Love this book and use it almost daily as I learn the cards. Her explanation of each card is very easy to understand (but not superficial) and without any frightening interpretations (as I've sometimes found with other tarot guides). I love that there's a section with a "quick reference" guide to each card and their meaning, as well as a lot of different spreads to try out and creative ways to use the tarot cards aside from readings.

I've used this Tarot book for over 15 years, and have bought multiple copies for friends. It is the most understandable book I've read for really "getting" the cards. It has a few pages devoted to explaining the "Moon" card, since this is a tricky one to understand. It also has spreads in the back, and Tarot numerology. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
