This astrology oracle deck is by the same author as the Eight Coins' Tattoo Tarot and pairs well with the tarot deck for those who already own the deck or those looking for both a tarot and astrology deck that can be used together to add an additional layer to your tarot readings bringing in the energies and influences of the planets, houses and astrological symbols.  The art style is very similar to the tarot deck and makes a beautiful layout using both decks in conjunction.  The deck comes with a nice guidebook that explains each astrological sign, the meaning of each house and each of the moon phases.  I found it to be informative, just enough to help one better understand each sign, house, and moon phase to help clarify a tarot reading, but not so much astrological information as to feel overwhelming, which makes it a great intro deck and guidebook set to astrology.  Makes a perfect deck for those looking to add a little bit of astrology to their tarot readings to take it to a whole new level!

Fans of the Eight Coins Tattoo Tarot will enjoy adding this one to their collection. Whether, they are using it for placeholders in an astrology reading or as an oracle deck in combination with the tarot, they will have plenty to work with here. The lack of keywords on the cards does mean that beginners to astrology will need to use the guidebook, which does provide a generous amount of information for each card. The “if you pull this card“ section in the guidebook, was particularly helpful.
