A very unique deck with a desert theme covering the southwestern area of the U.S. There are UFOs, ETs and even Native American Characters, if you are an ET or UFO Fan, this may be the deck for you! The minor arcana has been renamed to desert theme objects from cups to jugs, swords to daggers, pentacles to cactus and wands to chiles. The deck is edged in turquoise, and the colors of the deck are also southwestern themed with lots of bold vivid orange, red, yellow and turquoise, etc. It follows the Rider Waite Smith System and is very easy to read for beginners or advanced readers alike, so if you are looking for a Rider Waite Smith System with a little bit of extraterrestrial, UFOs and aliens sprinkled in, you cannot go wrong with this deck!

This deck is FUN. I opened it up and was transported into a pop culture cinematic adventure filled with aliens, cowboys, and Snidely Whiplash-like villains. As a storyteller this deck really tickled my fancy, especially with its pastel colors ranging from sunset pinks to Native-inspired turquoise. Lindsay D. Williams does a fantastic job straddling between whimsical and serious, ranging from a bovine being abducted by aliens in Judgement to the contemplative cowboy silhouette of The Hermit. I also enjoy the reimagining of the suits where Wands are Chiles, Discs are Cacti, Swords are Daggers, and Cups are Jugs. Thematically everything is in alignment across the board with this deck and the backs of the cards bear an engaging pattern of eyes embedded in what looks like could be a rolled quilt for those cold desert nights.
