Each card in the deck features a full-color portrait of a different 19th century Native American. Most of the paintings are taken from McKenney and Hall’s historic collection of 19th century portraits published in The Indian Tribes of North America. The stunning portraits were created when the subjects served as delegates of their respective tribes to Washington, D.C. and other historic peace councils. The 124-page illustrated booklet presents a biographical essay on each Native American figure.
Included are stories of Indian chiefs, braves, and squaws; some well known, others obscure. This set includes prominent Native American leaders: Tecumseh, Geronimo, and Ten Bears. Card deck is suitable for most card games.
