Published posthumously as a tribute to its creator, Yoav Ben-Dov, this Marseille deck is a faithful reproduction of the traditional tarot cards created by the esteemed Nicholas Conver in 1760. This vibrant 79-card deck includes an extra blank logo card to be used as a carte blanche, "for everything that is open and possible”. Also included is a 56-page booklet with instructions for reading the cards, with both upright and inverse meanings.

CBD Tarot de Marseille was voted by 13,000 Tarot Association Facebook subscribers as one of Top 50 Essential Tarot Decks, the only one in the “Marseilles decks” category.

"Ben-Dov has created what I believe to be the most elegant restoration of the classic Conver Marseille deck available.” —Mary K. Greer

What Customers Are Saying About CBD Tarot De Marseille

A French tarot that SPEAKS. After receiving this and examining the cards for the first time: WOW! This is the only French tarot you really need to shore up your collection. I love my old, dusty Marseilles decks just as much as anyone else, but this slightly updated CBD "reproduction" deck by Yoav Ben-Dov will blow your mind with the images and colors presented here. So vivid. Even the minors stand out far above other reproductions. Very impressed with this. I love the vivid colors and lines. I don't normally "read" from French decks, but if you wish to start, there is no better place than this. I've been displaying one of these cards on my desk every morning, and, based on my experience, the power of this CBD deck will reveal itself to you. Or if you just like the art, don't hesitate. This is excellent.

Head over heels—Gorgeous deck!!! I love this deck because the images are so bright and easy to see.  this is the first deck that allows me to sit back and look at a card spread as a whole without having to move closer and squint to see the images.   the card stock is matte, so light doesn't glare so harshly when reflected.  i love that the pip cards only have geometric designs.  this allows the cards with people and scenes to really pop out.  readings are way less confusing this way.  there is an energy to this deck.  it vibrates.  it hums.  it's strangely beautiful and has a wicked sense of humor.  it almost seems to be winking at me.  like life should be.  not so heavy and serious all the time.

I bought this deck to alternate between it and my RWS deck(the latter was the deck I learned with). But I must confess that I absolutely fell in love with the Tarot De Marseilles! I’m very pleased with the colours, the paper, the quality - all to my liking. Now I only read professionally with my Marseilles deck. Most folks today would probably disagree, but what I love about the TDM is it’s overall simplicity - no images of people doing anything in the pip cards, e.g., the two of cups is just an image of . . . two cups. I read them according to their numerical value, and sometimes elements, so images aren’t necessary for me to get a pretty accurate reading.
I was so happy with my cards I ordered a second deck.
