Magnetic Attraction Spell

This is a repost of Arwen Lynch’s post at Witches And Pagans. Arwen used our Tarot Magnets to demonstrate how she uses Tarot and magic.

Joy Magnet by Arwen LynchThis is day three of an ongoing week-long challenge to seek joy. The beginning can be found here. I am sharing day three here because it involves a very simple, often overlooked, type of magic. All you need are Tarot cards, paper, pen, a magnet and a fridge.

The challenge itself is very straight-forward. Just say, once a day, “I am a joy seeker. Joy finds me. I am a joy magnet.” Then report here to share your joy!

Do this out loud. Do this looking yourself in the mirror. If you are sight-impaired, speech-impaired, hearing-impaired, no worries. Adjust as suits you!

There’s an easy spell you can do to call joy to you. You don’t need to be artistically-inclined. Just write down what you are then place it on a metal surface (like your fridge!) with a magnet. I love using my Tarot magnets from U.S. Games Systems Inc. for this.

Today I am a joy magnet so I put that on my white board. I wrote it out on the board. then on a piece of paper that I stuck to the white board with a Wheel of Fortune magnet.

Magnets attract so I am empowering this magnet to attract joy.

Magnet magic is one of the simplest things you can do. I think it is also one of the types of magic that we tend to overlook because it is such an easy working.

I’d love to see your own magnet magic if you try this out. U.S. Games offers the Fool, the Magician, the Lovers, Strength, the Wheel of Fortune, and the Moon. Each set has six of the same card but from various U.S. Games decks.

Seek joy, y’all. Pass it on.

Multiple #Tarot Decks?

There are many great blogs on the web. A favorite of ours is the Tarot-ically Speaking by Madhavi Ghare. Last week she shared an experience about reading with two (or more) Tarot decks.

Madhavi shared, "Doing a Tarot reading with two or more Tarot decks was one of the most fascinating experiences I have had in my entire career as a professional Tarot card reader. Not only was it more illuminating, but it was also challenging and interesting for the client. Normally, most Tarot card readers end up using a…Click here to see the full blog.

Ask A Reader 3 #Tarot

Today's Ask A Reader comes from X who has two possible apartments to move to. We drew from the Joie de Vivre Tarot. I want to point out that I drew blind and put them on the scanner without looking at them first. I was suprised by the cards! Seems like a clear cut case, but is it?

Second apartment Pro/Con

So what advice can you offer X today? Which living situation seems to be the better of the two?

Two #Tarot Card Spreads

Two card spreads are fun to do because they are fast, but do they give you enough information? I think that they do if you consider that you can eliminate the situation card and just ask two questions about it.

Here are just a few ways to do that.

"Should I Stay Or Should I Go" This lyrical two question spread can be applied to many situation including a relationship, a job or even a housing situation.

"Hold On or Let Go" will answer whether or not you need to try harder or just step back from a situation.

"Fold 'Em or Hold 'Em" is a poker version of whether you should commit to something or bow out.

"Step Up or Step Back" would be whether or not to volunteer your time and energy.

So let's try one, shall we? Your client wants to know if they should volunteer to be a chaperone for their child's field trip to the museum. You draw the Tower for the Step Up card and the 2 of Coins for the Step Back card.

What is your advice to your client based on these two cards from the African Tarot?

What are some other two card spreads you can think of?

The vibrant imagery draws largely on the African experience, depicted in a primitive art style. Evoking universal childhood emotions, African Tarot can help you explore your true inner nature. Review by Lizzie of Lizzie's Logic
