TarotBlogHop: Afternoon Tea

PREVIOUS | MASTER | NEXT

Our Tarot Blog Hop mistress is Louise Underhill. She’s given us this topic.

The topic of the Samhain Blog Hop this time, is to discuss or show, via the Tarot or any other oracle, who you would invite to an afternoon tea on the Day of the Dead. What do you imagine they’d be like? What Tarot card (or cards!) would represent them? What would you ask them? What would you like to learn from them? Your “guest” can be living, or dead, but imagine them there and then represent them in a Tarot card (or more).

We decided we would make this a puzzle for you.  One commenter will win their very own Halloween themed deck (we will give you a list to choose from.)

We thought we would want to ask three people to tea.

1. Pamela Colman Smith aka Pixie who created the art for the Rider Waite Smith deck

2. Lady Frieda Harris who created the art for the Thoth deck

3. Bonafacio Bembo who is said to have created most of the art for the Visconti-Sforza deck

We drew three cards from the Halloween Oracle. Our challenge to you is which card do you think goes with which Tarot artist?

Contest ends 11/3 at 12 midnight PST. Winner will be announced on or by 11/7.

The three cards, in no particular order are:

HalloweenOracle_VampireEmotionalIntelligence

Halloween Oracle

HalloweenOracle_JoyRejoicinginthepresent

Halloween Oracle

HalloweenOracle_SkeletonStrength
